How to Apply Italwax Top Formula Wax
Achieve smooth, professional results every time by following the correct application technique for this liposoluble warm wax.
- Prep the skin: Cleanse the treatment area to remove oils, sweat, and product residue. Apply a light pre-wax lotion or powder to ensure the skin is completely dry and ready for application.
- Heat to the correct temperature: Insert the Top Formula wax cartridge into a compatible roller heater and bring to 37–39 °C. The wax is ready when it flows smoothly and evenly from the roller head. Make sure it’s fluid but not watery.
- Apply in a thin layer: Using a spatula or roller applicator, spread the warm wax in a thin, even layer in the direction of hair growth.
- Apply a depilation strip: Press a depilation strip firmly onto the wax and smooth it down in the direction of hair growth so it adheres fully.
- Remove quickly and close to the skin: Hold the skin taut with one hand and remove the strip in one fast, confident motion against the direction of hair growth, keeping the strip as close to the skin as possible throughout.
