How long does it take to heat the wax to working temperature?

At 350 W, the Luxorise heats wax considerably faster than lower-powered alternatives. The exact time depends on the type and volume of wax being heated — a partial load of film wax pellets will reach working temperature faster than a full 3 litre load of paraffin, for example. As a general guide, allow 20–30 minutes for a standard working volume of film wax pellets, and longer for paraffin or a full container.

How do I clean the Luxorise wax heater between wax types?

To switch between wax types — for example, moving from film wax to paraffin — allow any remaining wax to cool and solidify fully in the container, then remove it as cleanly as possible before adding the new wax. Wipe the interior of the aluminium container with a clean cloth or professional wax remover to remove any residue before reloading. Always ensure the container is fully dry before adding new wax or turning the heater back on.
